Full Description
Site identified during transcription of features recorded on air photographs. (1)
This site has been re-surveyed from aerial photographs as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024. It is not entirely clear if these are the sites of two barrows. The eastern feature appears to be the cropmarks of a large extractive pit. The western feature is less clear. The traces of smaller extractive pits are scattered across this area of the field.(2)
