Site identified during transcription of features recorded on air photographs. (1) RCHME AP shows 2 single-ditched, ring ditches at TR 3280 6890, TR 3274 6892 and linear feature at TR 3275 6895. Thanet cropmark plot shows additional single-ditched, ring ditch at TR 3274 6892. (2)

The cropmarks of two adjacent ring ditches, probably the remains of the two Bronze Age round barrow described above (1) are visible on aerial photographs - HEA 29749_037 29-JUN-2015, NMR 2134/1084 26-APR-1983 and Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 21-APR-2007. These have been mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024. Both are slightly sub-circular ring ditches. The NW is located at TR 3288468957 and has a diameter of 18m. The SE barrow is located at TR 32899 68928 with a diameter of 22m.
Site MKE117159/TR36NW52 is located to the south-east of the SE barrow. This refers to barrow remains identified during a pipeline excavation. It is possible that this record also refers to one or both of the above mentiond barrow. (3-5)
