Site identified during transcription of features recorded on air photographs. (1) TSMR 0078- describes ring ditch also. (2) 1940's AP notes internal divisions in enclosures to West and East, macula feature within the central enclosure and possible pit feature outside of group. (3)

The cropmark remains of a probable medieval settlement visible as a series of rectilinear enclosures extend 380m along the north side of Shottendane Road (probably the course of a medieval route). The cropmark remains of 5 or 6 enclosures can be seen on a number of aerial photographs - HEA 29749_029 29_JUN_2015 ,HEA 29749_037 29-JUN-2015, HEA 29750_006 29-JUN-2015 and Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 21-APR-2007, Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 07-APR-2021- and have been mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024 (4-8).
