Site identified during transcription of features recorded on air photographs. (1)
Cropmarks of a small incomplete ring ditch 6.7m in diameter lying within a dark curvilinear macula 25m x 31m visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs - NMR 962/95 09-JUL-1976. This macula is likely to be the result of post medieval extraction which has destroyed the northern part of a possible medieval settlement enclosure (MKE **). These features were mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024.(2)
