Site identified during transcription of features recorded on air photographs. (1) RCHME AP shows single-ditched, ring ditch with central pit features, located at TR 3345 6731. (2)

Possible Bronze Age round barrow visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs - NMR 962/95 09-JUL-1976. The site appears as the cropmark of a ploughed-out sub-circular mound 24m in diameter, with evidence of some buried mound material visible as a pale cropmark.In the centre of the this mound is the cropmark of a single pit, possibly the result of subsequent robbing of the barrow. This feature was mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024. A second smaller mound site lies immediately to the NE. This is recorded separately (3).
