Full Description
Cropmarks indicating the site of ring ditches at TR 32596783, TR 32596799 TR 32516799 and TR 32666793. Possibly part of same complex at TR 36 NW 141,143 and 144 (1,2,3,4) Additional ring ditches located at TR 3255 6791, TR 3258 6790 and TR 3261 6783. (5)
The cropmark traces of a number of ring ditches likely to be the remains of Bronze Age round barrows are visible on aerial photographs. These have benn mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024. These barrow have all been recorded separately as child records of this main parent record. (6-8)
