TR 304678. Cropmarks of ring ditches and enclosures. Cropmarks show a group of small diameter ring ditches, possibly Jutish barrows, positioned around TR 304678. They are bordered to the east by a series of rectangular enclosures. To the south were the hill falls to meet Crispe Road there are a number of isolated ditches of larger diameter, perhaps Bronze Age round barrows. (1) Macula located to E. side of the group. (2)

Cropmarks of fragmented settlement enclosures and scattered small pits have been identified on aerial photographs at the location described above by the previous authority. The main enclosure is an incomplete sub-rectangular enclosure with an entrance to the south opening into a smaller D-shaped annexe. These features may be associated with the similar adjacent settlement enclosures (TR 36 NW 203 to the west) which may be Bronze Age to Iron Age in date.These feature have been mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024 (3-6)
