Monument record TR 36 NW 214 - Barrow and linear feature cropmarks, near Mount Pleasant, Minster, Thanet
Summary
The cropmarks of small barrow and linear ditch features have been identified in fields to the north of Minster. The cropmarks were reportedly sighted in aerial photographs and were recorded in the Isle of Thanet Sites and Monuments Archive. An Anglo-Saxon date for these features has been suggested, possibly associated with the discovery of an Anglo-Saxon knife and bead found in the area during work to lay a pipeine in 1984 (see TR 36 NW 216).
