Cropmark of large area feature at TR 3556 6450 and small area feature
at TR 3563 6458. (1)

Cropmarks of two large pits or depressions of uncertain date located at TR 3557 6453 and TR 3562 6459 which can be seen on aerial photographs. These may be the remains of either natural solution holes in the chalk or the result of historic chalk extraction. They measure 38m x 49m and 22m across respectively. A small circular pit c.4m across can also be seen at TR 3559 6456.(2)
