Full Description
In 2006 Wessex Archaeology carried out an evaluation. Three Roman cremations were found. All three had been buried in pottery vessels, one with two other accompanying vessels and the others with one additional each. A samian platter dated to AD 120-150 whilst one bead-rimmed jar was of late 1st to early 2nd century date. All three burials were adults, two were possibly male. (1)
