Full Description
An enclosure visible as a cropmark in aerial photos of 1961 at Sweech Hill in Hillborough. It is 42m across and consists of a single circular ditch.
Later analysis of the feature identified associated linear features around the enclosure. (1) The enclosure is likely to be the same feature as (TR 26 NW 1236), a medieval enclosure excavated in 2022. Some of the linear features may be Bronze Age/Iron Age (TR 26 NW 219) or medieval ditches and associated features.
