Full Description

A trench system, likely from World War I, is visible in crop marks from 1961 aerial photographs of the area to the north of Lenham. The site covers a hexagonal shape measuring 50 metres by 110 metres, with two double trenched pathways leading off from two of the corners. The hexagonal shape consists of a system of trenches meandering through, and the edges are crenulated trenches.
