Full Description
A rectangular feature and a rounded square feature visible as cropmarks in Google images 2010, to the west of Cliffe. The rectangular feature is 33m by 63m and the rounded square feature is 29m by 18m.
Cropmarks of an incomplete rectilinear enclosure of uncertain date seen at TQ 7312 7662 close to Allen's Hill. This was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project. The enclosure is ditch-defined with one complete side measuring c. 35m, and to incomplete sides of 16m and 26m. There is no trace of a northern side. This site was mapped from Google Earth aerial photographic imagery taken in 2007. (1-2)
