Full Description
A series of pits is visible as a cropmark in Google Earth image from May 2007 to the northwest of Stowting. There is one large pit measuring 17 metres by 40 metres, surrounded by numerous much smaller pits. This area is visible on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th edition OS maps as a chalk pit.
