Full Description
During Channel Tunnel Rail Link works carried out by the Museum of London Archaeology Service found a brick-built kiln. The brickwork was dated to the mid to late 18th century. After frequent use the kiln fell into disuse and collapsed, probably some time in the late 18th to late 19th century. It was probably a brick kiln and the product was used in nearby developments in Singlewell and Cobham. (1)
