Full Description

A Second World War Type 24 (FW3/24) infantry pillbox formerly stood on this site. It was six sided, faced south towards Manston Road and had a y-shaped anti-ricochet wall in the centre. (1)

An evaluation in 2007 did not find any associated trenching. (2)

The site of a former Second World War type 24 pillbox located at TR36206 65696 (135m NE of stated location) and visible on aerial photographs. The pillbox has now been removed, but was situated on the north side of the Ramsgate to Staner Hill road within wartime allotment gardens. (2)
