Full Description

In 2005 Oxford Archaeology carried out an excavation. A ring ditch dating to the Early Bronze Age was found. It was c.15m in diameter and more than half of it was exposed during the excavation. It was probably a round barrow but no central burial was located. Only late prehistoric pottery was found within the ring ditch. (1)
