Full Description

In 2007/8 Archaeology South-East carried out an excavation. The earliest evidence for activity on the site was a small assemblage of Mesolithic worked flints. These included flakes, blades and bladelets. It was all recovered from later features but indicates that flints working was occurring either on the site or in the immediate vicinity. (1-2)
