TR 34576481. A bell beaker was found in 1967 in a drainage trench dug by Foreland Construction Ltd. at Cliffview Road, Cliffsend, approximately 80 feet from the junction with Clive Road. There were no apparent traces of a barrow. The beaker is in the possession of the Public Library, Ramsgate. (1)

The beaker accompanied a crouched burial (lying on left side with head to N) in a simple chalk cut grave. It was observed by Capt. Hogarth (a) whose details of siting suggest that the NGR be amended to TR 34556479. (2)

TR 346647. [Sited to nearest 50m] Bronze Age remains. Site no 170. (3)

TR 346648. A grave cut down through 1.2m of brickearth and into 0.6m of chalk was discovered here in 1967 during building work. The burial was accompanied by a bell beaker now with Ramsgate Public Library. (4)
