In August 2020 a historic buildings record was completed at Tibbs Court Farm, Tibbs Court Lane, Brenchley.
‘Tibbs Court Farm has origins as a small roadside farmstead, which expanded into a large processing plant dealing with fruits grown in the surrounding orchards. The buildings are largely modern, although two – Buildings 1 and 2 – have earlier origins: Building 1 was constructed in the early 19th century as a barn, while Building 2 was added in the late 19th century and likely built as stock housing. Both of these buildings have been converted to offices and modernised, though some historic fabric remains visible. The remainder of the buildings on the site – Buildings 3, 3a, 4 and 5 – have been constructed since the 1930s and are of a simple and functional nature, reflecting their use.’ (3)
