Findspot record TR 36 SW 60 - Bronze axe, Minster
Summary
A three ribbed bronze socketed axe in Liverpool County Musuem was reportedly found in Minster some time before 1847. The axe was presented to the museum from a private collection but it is uncertain where it was found. No further details about the object or its discovery were available. This artefact is one of two bronze axes found in the 19th century in Minster now in Liverpool County Museum (see also TR 36 SW 59).
