Full Description
TR 338 641 Romano-British Occupation Site During the cutting of a pipe trench in 1977, remains of a settlement were discovered at this point. There were some water logged deposits, Samian and other fine wares together with building materials which indicate the presence of a Roman villa site. Information from N. Macpherson-Grant. (1)
