(1-2)
The Historic Farmsteads survey carried out for Historic England concluded that the farmstead had been totally demolished by the time of the 2nd edition Ordnance Survey map (1897-1900). Certainly the outbuildings had but on the 1st edition map (1862-1875) the building to the east, which still survives, seems to have been connected to the outbuildings, presumably as a farmhouse. Although it may later have been severed from the outbuildings the farmsteads cannot be said to have been entirely, but only partically demolished.(3)
