Monument record TQ 94 SE 45 - Windmill (possible), Great Chart with Singleton

Summary

A windmill was located at Great Chart with Singleton during the 19th century. A mill is recorded on the Ordnance Survey 1st edtion map to the east of Great chart and north of Singleton and it is presumed that this is the site that was the basis for the creation of this record. The mill is called Buxford mill and appears to have still been in use c.1922, as recorded on the 3rd edtion Ordnance survey map of this period.
