Full Description
A Corn Windmill, marked on the Ordnance Survey 1st and 2nd edition maps of c.1858-1898. It is also marked as 'disused' on the 3rd and 4th edition Ordnance survey maps (c.1905-1940).
Site of an early post mill which was moved to it's present site in the 1820's. The mill was worked constantly until the beginning of World War I, when difficulties forced it to close. After it's closure the mill was used as a store, but is now demolished. (1)
