Summary
Railway station on the Hurst Green and Ashford Junction Railway, built by the London, Brighton and South Coast Railway Company. Built circa 1888. The cast-iron footbridge linking the platforms is listed Grade II. Ashurst railway station is marked for the first time on the Ordnance survey 2nd edition map of c.1891-1898. It is marked on all subsequent editions.
