Summary
Cuxton railway station opened in 1856 and was the smallest of three Tudor style stations built by the South East Railway company. The building was a brick built single storey structure with a two storey residence attached with detailing including decorative tiling and high octagonal chimneys. A single line goods yard was later laid out on the north side of the line. This closed in 1961.
