Full Description
Three Roman vessels, found between Stone Cemetery and the War Memorial, were donated to the Museum by Councillor L. Fuller, of 1, Watling Street, Dartford (1). Councillor Fuller died some years ago, but the 'vessels' were found probably within a field he farmed about 1939, centred at TQ 5688 7400, and which has since been partly quarried away for chalk. The pottery is probably in Dartford Museum, but could not be located there (2) and an additional reference from a field report (3).
