Summary

A field barn with no associated yard. A building named "Willow Wick" is depicted on the 1st edition Ordnance survey map of 1885 situated at the western end of a field defined by channels. The building had been demolished by 1897 and another built to the north east. This later building is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1947 but has subsequently been demolished. Nothing is depicted here on the 1805 Ordnance Survey map but "Willow wick" is marked on a later revision. This map also shows a number of osier (willow) beds in the vicinity. This site was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.
