The site of a former 19th - 20th century sheep fold at TQ 7230 7726, recorded on historic OS maps of first, second and third epoch (1879-1908). It is no longer depicted on the fourth epoch OS map of 1939. The map sources depict at least one enclosed building located at the junction of three drainage ditches with access to three adjacent fields within the low-lying marsh.
The location of this site and surrounding marshland has been quarried out for clay for the local cement industry. (3-5)
