Cuckolds Green is mentioned in the Historic Area Assessment for Stoke Parish by English Heritage, part of the wider Hoo Peninsula study. It is described as a cluster of cottages and a farm at Cuckolds Green, to the west of Lower Stoke, which has not apparently been replaced by a small group of houses. (3)
