Full Description
The station at Hawkhurst is marked on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th edition Ordnance Survey maps of c.1891-1940. The brach line between Hawkhurst and Paddock Wood was opened in 1892 so presumably the station was constructed at this time. The line is now dismantled after closure in 1961. No further information was available.
From The National Monuments Record:
Terminal station of the Hawkhurst - Paddock Wood branch line, opened in 1893. Closed in 1961.
