Summary

A samian base, form 33, found during dredging, and part of a tegula from a spoil heap, together with a fragment of human cranium, Roman potsherds and animal bones, were found 27.4.1957, at the workings of the Ham River Grit Co., Darenth. These finds probably derived from the Roman villa site, which is 200.0m. Upstream
