Seven test trenches were excavated during evaluation trenching at Woods Court, Badlesmere in January 2002. An 18th century well and other features and layers dated by pottery to a post-medieval (1550-1750) or more likely an early modern (1750-1875) date were identified. The earliest finds were two yellow late medieval bricks. (3)
