In 2014 A level 2 historic building record was made of the buildings at wood farm. A photographic record supplemented by information on the building and its features was carried out. The farm house originally consisted of two rooms constructed in the late 18th or early 19th century. A cellar is located bellow. In the late 19th centruy the building was extended to the south adding two genrous rooms.
At the eastern end a long workshop is present, formed by the incorporation of masonry from an earlier structure. There are also outbuildings including a concrete garage of arounf the mid 20th century. Timber sheds/garages are also present replacing earlier buildings shown on the Tithe map of 1839. An Anderson Shelter dating from the second world wat remains in the front garden. The site does not represent significant survivals of structures of major architectural significance but does reflect the family's journey through time.
