Full Description
A detached oast house, with a circular kiln, located at 164 Bullen Lane, south east of Dawes Cottage. A probable barn building is shown on the site, on the Ordnance Survey drawing of 1789 and again on the East Peckham Tithe map of 1842. By the time of the OS first edition map (1862 - 1875) the oast had been added to the rear of the structure. The barn was demolished leaving only the oast by the time of the OS second edition (1897 - 1900).
