Full Description
Site of former oast house in Laddingford. A rectangular building is visible on the Tithe map of 1840. By the time of the first edition Ordnance Survey map (1862 - 1875) two circular kilns have been added to the southern side of the structure. The oast is further extended to include a third kiln sometime before 1900. The oast house is visible on the aerial photographs in the 1940s; however they are not shown on the 1990 aerial photos.
