Full Description
Oasthouse to the southwest of Dowle Street Farm. The building is recorded in the 1789 OS Drawings and 1838 tithe map of Pluckey, suggesting it was probably built in the eighteenth century. It is recorded as having a single roundel in the 1st edition OS map, with an additional roundel built by the time of the 2nd edition at the end of the nineteenth century. The oasthouse is visible in the 1940s aerial photographs, but not in the 1990 photographs, suggesting it was demolished in the second half the twentieth century.
