Full Description
Oast house, north east of Oakdale, Crockham Hill. It appears on the first edition Ordnance Survey map (1862 - 1875) as a circular kiln with a rectangular structure attached on its west side. It is not present on the Westerham Tithe map of 1845 and so was built sometime between 1845 and 1875. It is clear from the second edition OS map that the attached structure was extended northwards sometime before the twentieth century.
Identified by the Historic Farmsteads Survey. (1)
