Full Description
In 2003 and 2004 Canterbury Archaeological Trust carried out fieldwalking of a field adjacent to the Ringlemere cup site. More than 130 30m squares were surveyed. The exact extent of this work is unknown but an 'essentially unbroken scatter of prehistoric struck flint and calcined flint was present across the entire area'.
A concentration of burnt flint in the north of the field was investigated in 2009. No corresponding archaeological features were located. (1)
