Full Description
Former site of an oasthouse to the west of the High Street in West Malling. An existing building recorded in the 1st edition of the OS Map has two roundels added by the time of the 2nd edition at the end of the nineteenth century. The building is recorded with these two roundels in the 3rd and 4th edition of the OS, and appears in the 1940s aerial photographs. However, by the 1990 aerial photographs the roundels and associated building are no longer visible, suggesting they were demolished in the second half of the twentieth century.
