Full Description
Oasthouse at Canon Court Farm. The building is first recorded in the OS drawings of 1797, suggesting it was probably constructed at some point in the eighteenth century. It is recorded in the 1839 tithe map of Wateringbury and 1st edition OS Map as a rectangular structure, before apparently having a single roundel added by the time of the 2nd edition OS at the end of the nineteenth century. It is recorded with a single roundel in the 3rd and 4th editions of the OS, and appears as such in the aerial photographs of the 1940s onwards.
