Site of a four-kiln oast built in Newington in the middle of the nineteenth century - building is shown on the OS first edition map but not the tithe map. An additional twin roundel oast was added at the end of the nineteenth century - building is shown on the OS second and third edition maps. All buildings were demolished in the middle of the twentieth century - visible on the 1940s aerial photo but not the 1990 photo.
