Full Description
Mid-Nineteenth century limekiln in quarry, NNE of Moss House.
The site was shown as a coppice called Rabbit warren on the 1840 tithe map , but by the 1862-75 first edition Ordnance Survey map the quarry and limekiln are shown.The kiln was disused by the second edition 1897-1900 Ordnance Survey map and demolished by the third1907-23 edition.
