Full Description

Late nineteenth to early twentieth century hop pickers huts around edge of field N of Forge Cottage.
The site consists of three rectangular structures with a possible centralised toilet block associated. These buildings are shown on the second edition Ordnance Survey map 1862-1900, but not on any earlier editions. The two buildings to the south east remain in the third edition 1907-1923 Ordnance Survey map however, the structure to the south west has been divided on to two separate structures by this time.
There are no remaining structures in the later Ordnance Survey map of 1929-1952.
