Full Description
Old barn - A barn now used as a store. The building was probably once a dwelling house. The tinmber framing is similar to that used in houses, and one bay shows that there was formerly an open hearth here, with partitions each side to contain the smoke. The framing has early features but it is difficult to place an exact date on it. The adjoining house (No.1 Mill Wall Place) dates to circa 1600 and would appear to have become the dwelling house and this building the barn
