Full Description
Former site of an oasthouse to the southwest of Isabel Mead Farm. The building is first recorded in the 1844 tithe map for Harbledown, but appears as a larger rectangular structure with two roundels in the 1st edition OS map, suggesting it was expanded in the middle of the nineteenth century. It remains visible in the aerial photographs of the 1940s, but apparently without roundels. The building is not visible in the photographs of 1990, suggesting it was demolished in the second half of the twentieth century.
