Full Description
Oasthouse to the west of the High Street in Wingham. The building is recorded in the 1840 tithe map of Wingham, and also possibly in the 1797 OS Drawings, suggesting it was possibly constructed as early as the eighteenth century. It is recorded with two roundels in the tithe map, and also appears as such as in the 1st to 4th editions of the OS. The building is visible in aerial photographs from the 1940s onwards.
