Full Description
Oasthouse at Pivington Mill. The building is first recorded in the 1st edition OS Map, and also possibly on the 1838 tithe map for Pluckley, suggesting it was constructed in the first half of the nineteenth century. It is initially recorded as having four roundels, with an additional one apparently added by the time of the 2nd edition OS at the end of the nineteenth century. The building remains visible in the aerial photographs of the 1940s onwards, though its roundels appear to have been demolished by this time.
