Full Description
The 1840s Tithe map of Selling Parish shows a square structure with two separate associated oasts, where the two roads intersect before entering Selling. The first edition Ordnance Survey map (1862-75) shows an expansion of the site with two square buildings beening erected to the south east (probable oasts) and the north structure beeing extended to butt the oasts; a southern extension, changes the buildings foot print to a P.
Small additional buildings can be seen on the second edition Ordnance Survey map (1897-1900), two butting the southern structure and a third between the two main buildings .
All the buildings are demolished in the mid-late twentieth century, after the 1940s aerial survey, but before the 1990.
Identified by the Historic Farmsteads Survey. (1)
